As parents, we often get in habits of rituals for so many different things, from the time we wake up to the time we go to bed. Tell me your favorite ritual with your child, whether it is your preschooler or one that has left the nest. We would love for you to share these memories and ideas with us!
You can comment on this blog (leave me an email so I can let you know if you have one) or link from your blog and leave the url in the comment section. The best ritual will be selected by me and will receive a book selected by me from Barefoot Books.
Thanks for sharing!

Staying Home And Lovin' It
My friend Betsy is a stay at home mom. I am very jealous. Last year, Betsy and I got to do play group together once a week and our two girls got together frequently during the week. Not to mention, Betsy and I are two of the Smart Moms, so we would discuss business ideas for hours some days. We were able to see each other a lot, and now, with her new baby on the way and my work day schedule, we just don't get to see each other enough.
Betsy does a lot of neat things with her 2 year old. She takes pictures to chronicle all the events. If you are looking for some great ideas to do with your two year old, check out her blog. Of course, many ideas are country type ideas, not for the city folks, but some ideas can be adapted for those that live in more populated areas.
And I cannot wait until summer when we can have some time together again.

Valentine' Day Activities for Preschoolers
Valentines Day is such a fun time for young children. Making pretty hearts, eating lots of fun candy, and sending your love to others are all things that preschoolers love to take part in. If you want something beyond the traditional heart crafts, here are some sites to consider:
- Bible Fun Zone has a great idea for a heart hunt
- IParenting has a very cute conversation heart frame
- My Dear Valentine has a neat painted flowerpot
- FamilyFun has lots of new crafts this year, but I especially like the Putty In Your Hands card
