Science Centers for Preschoolers
Today I took a field trip with some elementary students to the science center. I would have thought it would have been too much for a preschooler, but I could really see how a preschooler can do most of what is there, just a different level. I plan on taking my family next week during Spring Break. It is an educational but fun experience!

What to do with Easter eggs?
Plastic Easter eggs are a great manipulative for a matching activity. Take all the eggs apart and have your child put them back together. They have to match size or color, but also have to use fine motor skills to latch the eggs together. Another great idea is to continue to have egg hunts. Have your child hide the eggs and a sibling or parent hunt. The hunt can go on for days.
And try to recycle the usable eggs for another year. They are not recyclable (as far as I can tell) and are durable enough for multi-year hunts, if you don't lose them!
