What to do with Easter eggs?

Plastic Easter eggs are a great manipulative for a matching activity. Take all the eggs apart and have your child put them back together. They have to match size or color, but also have to use fine motor skills to latch the eggs together. Another great idea is to continue to have egg hunts. Have your child hide the eggs and a sibling or parent hunt. The hunt can go on for days.

And try to recycle the usable eggs for another year. They are not recyclable (as far as I can tell) and are durable enough for multi-year hunts, if you don't lose them!

Great ideas! We have had multiple egg hunts since Easter and thankfully are going to put them away (soon) for next year. It's nice to have something that you can re-use year after year...just adding to the pile!!
